Firefox + Chrome · New Tab · Sync · Privacy first

Your new tab.
Organized your way.

A privacy-first New Tab extension with folders, Spaces, flexible layouts and browser-native Sync across your computers. Automatic Sync stays within the same browser family: Firefox with Firefox, Chrome with Chrome.

For cross-browser moves, export a MosaicSync profile and import it in the other browser. MosaicSync uses browser extension Sync storage and never operates its own sync server.

Built around your browser

More organized. Less repetitive.

MosaicSync keeps the shortcuts and spaces you use every day organized whenever you open your browser.

Two Spaces, one dashboard

A Space is an independent MosaicSync shortcut layout. Keep two — for example Personal and Work — rename them, and switch between them instantly.

Organize with folders

Group related shortcuts into folders, keep the dashboard clean, and open everything without leaving MosaicSync.

Smart favicon discovery

MosaicSync checks a site’s own favicon and declared icon metadata, prefers the best usable result it can find, and caches it locally so your shortcuts look polished with less manual work.

Make it yours

Choose wallpapers, change shortcut sizing and grid density, and let MosaicSync follow light or dark mode automatically.

Private by design

Your browser setup doesn't need another account.

MosaicSync has no developer-operated sync server. When you enable synchronization, your browser’s extension Sync service transports MosaicSync’s supported extension data.

Frequently asked questions

About MosaicSync

Quick answers about compatibility, privacy and how MosaicSync works.

Is MosaicSync free?

Yes. MosaicSync is free and open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Which browsers does MosaicSync support?

MosaicSync supports Firefox and Chromium-based browsers, including Google Chrome.

Does MosaicSync sync between Firefox and Chrome?

Not automatically. Firefox Sync keeps MosaicSync synchronized between Firefox installations, while Chrome Sync does the same between Chrome installations. To move a complete setup between different browsers, export a MosaicSync profile and import it in the other browser.

Does MosaicSync send my data to its own servers?

No. MosaicSync has no telemetry or analytics and operates no synchronization server. Your working state is stored locally, and optional synchronization uses your browser's own extension Sync service.

Do I need a MosaicSync account?

No. MosaicSync uses your browser's extension Sync service when synchronization is enabled.

Your shortcuts. Across your browser installations.

Organize them once. Keep them across your signed-in installations of the same browser family — Firefox with Firefox, Chrome with Chrome — without adding another cloud account to your life.
